Welcome to the San Francisco Bay aboard the largest Bankes boat custom built for open water hunting. The sea duck hunting targets surf scoters, occasionally lesser and greater bluebills, and buffleheads throughout the waterfowl season. We will meet you at a launch ramp to load up for a boat ride to the hunting grounds. Upon arrival, decoys will be set and the boat will be anchored. The shooting can be outstanding at times, challenging to even the most experienced wing shooters yet great opportunities for a first timer. Downed ducks will be retrieved by a dog or in some instances, we will release the anchor to clean up with the boat. Be prepared for pictures, laughs, and a unique bucket list duck hunting experience.

We target common goldeneyes, greater and lesser scaup, and buffleheads on our diver duck hunts starting December. We will meet for a boat ride to the hunting grounds and hunt from a tidal bank or the boat depending on the conditions. You’ll hear the whistling wings of the goldeneyes as the sun rises on the delta. Bring three to four boxes of shells!
